Kim Jacobs

President, CEO & Founder, Social Spirits

Kim graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Film Studies and received her M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. Kim is the President, CEO & Founder of Social Spirits. Kim represents the 4th Generation in the Beverage Alcohol Sector and is also an Advisory Board Member at Reitman Industries. (The holding company for what was her family’s wholesale distribution business, R&R Marketing in New Jersey; which held the first distributor license in the state, founded by her Great-Grandfather, Frank Henry Reitman and became a subsidiary of The Charmer Sunbelt Group which merged with Wirtz Beverage Group now called: Break Thru Beverage NJ).

Prior to Social Spirits, Kim was the Director of Brand Development for Iron Horse Vineyards, tasked with enhancing brand awareness through Digital Programs & Sales for the New York City and New Jersey Markets. Before that, Kim was a top ranked Ad Sales Director at The Deal and The Deal.com (a Wasserstein & Co. owned financial information publication & website) where she built a $2MM National Sales territory. Kim sourced her own customers: Investment Banks, Private Equity Firms and Wine & Spirits’ Companies. Previous to that, Kim held sales roles on Wall Street at Siegler, Collery Hedge Fund as Director of Business Development and at Lazard Frères as a Sales Professional for the Private Client Group (Asset Management Division).

Kim has been a contributor to the Huffington Post on the subject of Digital Media. She currently serves as a Mentor at Year Up and at Dartmouth Partners in Community Service and as a Trustee of The Reitman Foundation.

 

Adrienne Turner

Chief Administrative Officer, Social Spirits

Adrienne graduated from City University at Brooklyn College with a B.S. in Biology and holds a MA from Rider University. Adrienne is the Chief Administrative Officer for Social Spirits. Her speciality areas are: Content Marketing, SEO Analytics and Social Media Marketing Techniques coupled with an expertise in Wine. 

Adrienne is an active member of The American Wine Society and WSET (Wine Spirits Education Trust), she holds an Advanced Certification in Wine & Spirits and is also a member of The Dionysian Society, International. Currently, Adrienne is the Newsletter & Events Editor for The American Wine Society.

Adrienne is Freelance Writer for wine & spirits publications. In addition, for 20 years: Adrienne was a Research & Development Chemist in the Medical Device Industry for Quest Diagnostics, Hewlett Packard and Thermo-Electron. Adrienne has combined her passion for wine and background in chemistry to inform consumers with content she provides.

 

Kendall Danforth

Interactive Designer, Social Spirits

Kendall graduated from Bucknell University with a BSBA in Business Administration specializing in: Markets, Innovation and Design, including a Minor in Studio Art. Kendall is the Interactive & Graphic Designer for Social Spirits.

Her expertise includes: Website/UX Design, Interaction/Animation and Graphic Design.

Since 2016, Kendall has worked in the Mobile Advertising space specializing in interactive, rich media ads. In her downtime, she enjoys yoga, running and the outdoors. Kendall’s “Red Carpet Drink” of choice is: Sauvignon Blanc, toasting with friends.
